Szczesny here shows his vision of the famous “Angels’ Bay” (“Baie des Anges”) on the Côte d’Azur. Vivid yet clear and simple colours dominate the picture. Female nude, still life, palm tree and summerly sailing boats gesture towards life and liveliness of the French Mediterranean.
