SZCZESNY – EVA AS A WINEQUEEN (COTTON)

Description

This screen print on cotton was produced in 2000, in collaboration with the renowned printer Har-El (based in Jaffa/Israel) as part of a series of (mostly) still lives, all of them printed on cotton. The prints are characterised by Szczesny’s trademarks: intense colours and insouciant brushstrokes. This colours of this print are more discreet and the central motif is a female head. The theme of still life is not entirely abandoned, though. It reappears in the attributes of the “Wine Queen”.
