In 2007, Stefan Szczesny transformed the entire island of Mainau into an ‘earthly paradise’, where art met nature and nature became art. The project featured numerous sculptures, glass objects and ceramics but also elaborate flower arrangements and other botanical features designed by the artist. This lavishly produced book (Softcover) offers a colourful reflection of this unique art project. It includes an introductory text by the art historian Roland Doschka and photos by Udo P. Klein and other photographers.
