Description
This offset lithograph dates to 1998. At the time, Stefan Szczesny regularly spent the summer months on the Côte d’Azur, living in New York and Cologne for the rest of the year. Three female figures, a still life and patches of colour are set against a background showing a photo the artist had taken on the iconic Croisette in Cannes. The print is an early instance of a mixing of media, which has since become an integral part of Stefan Szczesny’s work. It is one of the few instances where such a mixing of media is executed in a printing technique.
