Description
“Living Planet VII” forms part of a series of prints Stefan Szczesny produced for the world exhibition in Hanover in 2000, in collaboration with the famous Jaffa/Israel-based printer Har-El. On the invitation of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Stefan Szczesny had produced huge murals, painted on ceramic tiles, which showed a ‘map of life’. These murals were installed at the WWF pavilion. The screen prints on paper produced on the occasion are reproductions of sketches for the murals.
