SZCZESNY – PAINTING MEETS PHOTOGRAPHY

Description

Since its beginnings as a “New Wild” Stefan Szczesny is looking for new artistic expressions in order to implement his artistic vision. Since a major exhibition in 1999 at the Fondazione Levi in Venice is one of Szczesny künsterlischem repertoire also the painting over photographs. In an innovative way to meet here two very different types of reproduction of reality. The band “Painting meets Photography” published on the occasion of the exhibition in Venice and thus shows the early works of this style. In a short essay by the art historian Friedrich leads a box to the subject.
