SZCZESNY – THE EYES OF MANDALAY (PAPER)

Stefan Szczesny produced this screen print in 1999 in collaboration with the renowned printer Har-El in Jaffa (Israel), as part of a series of prints which thematised the Caribbean island of Mustique. The Caribbean has been a second home to Szczesny since the early 90s. The particular atmosphere of it inspires Szczesny. In his work, he often tries to recreate a ‘Caribbean feeling’ – not least in this series of prints.
